Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy, or CAR T-cell therapy, which is used to treat pediatric and adult patients with blood cancers that came back or keep growing despite chemotherapy. Multiple CAR T-cell therapies have been approved by the FDA.
The tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy includes lifileucel, which is FDA-approved for inoperable or metastatic melanoma that keeps growing after other immunotherapies.
