If you suffer from balance disorders and movement related dizziness, NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital now has three locations where you can receive therapy.

HVHC’s Center for Rehabilitation Services is now offering vestibular therapy at its Croton center at Shop Rite Plaza, 440 South Riverside Ave.

Studies have shown that vestibular rehab is effective in reducing symptoms of inner ear related dizziness and dysequilibrium.

"We use specific exercises to decrease dizziness, increase balance and increase functional activity" said Betty Landis, Director of Rehabilitation Services at NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital. "Our vestibular trained physical therapist is now available to see patients on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Croton location."

Patients can also receive vestibular therapy at NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital at 1980 Crompond Road (Route 202) in Cortlandt Manor and at the center’s Hopewell Junction location at 822 Rte 82.

To participate in Physical Therapy, you need a prescription from a NYS physician. The Center for Rehabilitation Services accepts most insurance and offers day & evening appointments! For more information, call 734-3251 or visit hvhc.npgdev.com.
