Pie Giveaway

Hudson Valley Hospital President John C. Federspiel gives a Thanksgiving pie to Cindy Barry and her baby daughter Christina. Barry works in the Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department.

Apple was more popular than Pumpkin, but both varieties were appreciated by the 1,000 employees at the Hospital who received pies on November 24 as part of a Thanksgiving tradition at NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital. The Hospital ordered 1,000 pies from Homestyle Bakeries. Hospital management distributes the pies to employees who come, many along with their families, to pick up the pies the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
