NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital Enters Pink Glove Dance Contest

More than 200 NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital employees – from the Hospital President to the mailroom staff - donned pink gloves today for their shot at winning the 2013 Medline Pink Glove Dance competition. The employees with the help of videographer Dan Guillaro are producing a video of the dance to enter in the contest and win $25,000 for the Hospital’s Cancer Center. The staff participated in the contest as a way to raise awareness about breast cancer in advance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The Hospital’s Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Cancer Center and the Ashikari Breast Center will be holding additional observances next month including its annual Jazz up Your Foundation Bra Decorating Contest and event on Oct. 17.
