NewYork-Presbyterian Is Only New York Hospital to Rank in All Clinical Areas by U.S.News & World Report "America's Best Children's Hospitals" Survey
Hospital Ranks Among Top 10 Nationally for Neonatal Care, Heart & Heart Surgery, and Digestive Disorders

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is the only New York hospital to rank in all seven clinical areas reported in the 2008 U.S.News & World Report "America's Best Children's Hospitals" issue. The Hospital also ranks among the top 10 nationally in three categories: Neonatal Care (#4), Heart & Heart Surgery (#6) and Digestive Disorders (#8).
The ranking accounts for NewYork-Presbyterian's two major centers for children's health care: Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian and the Komansky Center for Children's Health at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
The second annual "America's Best Children's Hospitals" rankings reflect reputation, volume and other patient-care-related factors. This special issue is available on newsstands on Monday, June 2. The complete report can be viewed at www.usnews.com/pediatrics.
