NEW YORK

For the thirteenth straight year, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital has more physicians listed in New York magazine's annual "Best Doctors" list than any other hospital. In the latest survey, 209 NewYork-Presbyterian physicians from 55 specialties were recognized.

"New Yorkers are fortunate to have some of the nation's best physicians right in their backyard," says Dr. Steven J. Corwin, CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. "We are thrilled to have so many of our doctors listed in New York magazine, as it reinforces what is most important — the outstanding and compassionate care we provide. Thank you to all our doctors for helping to make a difference in the lives of our patients and families every day."

The nearly 1,200 physicians listed in New York's sixteenth annual "Best Doctors" issue were selected through a peer-nomination process.

In addition, NewYork-Presbyterian's Emergency Medical Services team was also featured in a two-page photo spread called "A Day in the Life of a Life-Saver." A photographer from New York magazine followed the EMS team as it dealt with the typical daily range of patient emergencies, from internal bleeding and seizures to trauma from a bike accident, and documented the experience through a dozen vivid photographs.

The "Best Doctors" issue is on newsstands today. For the full list of physicians and methodology, visit nymag.com/bestdoctors.
