Tickets are now on sale for NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital’s "Wine and Dine around the World: Welcome to Napa Valley," an evening of fine foods and wine at the elegant Trump National Golf Course in Briarcliff Manor.

Tickets are $100 with $80 of that being tax deductible. Proceeds go to support the Ashikari Breast Center at NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital. To purchase tickets, call 914-734-3526 or purchase online at hvhc.org.

"Attending this fun evening is a great and affordable way to support the Ashikari Breast Center and its annual symposium, which allows medical professionals and others to share the latest information on cancer screening and treatment," said NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital President John Federspiel.

Last year more than 20 restaurants offered tastings of fine cuisine. Among those participating this year are: 105 Ten Bar and Grill, Cathryn’s Tuscan Grill, Dorian’s Seafood, Little Sorrento Italian Restaurant, Riverview Restaurant, Savannah’s Southern House, Table 9, Tavern at Croton Landing, The Quiet Man Public House, Trump National and many more. On the menu: fresh seafood and raw bar, including shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half-shell; sesame-crusted tuna with soy and cilantro vinaigrette; coconut poached shrimp with red curry slaw; broccoli rabe with orecchiette and wild boar sausage and much more.

Trump Executive Chef Chris Matson said he is excited about putting on the event at his venue and has a special menu planned: mini-lobster rolls, strip steak and butternut squash croquettes.

"This is such an elegant evening and I love being part of it," he said. "The wine, the food is truly spectacular. Each year, the event gets better and better."

This year, the event will showcase wines from Napa Valley, said event chair Rosemarie Panio, former owner of Panio Wines and Liquor, but there will be other wines as well.

"As we did last year, we will have fine wines from around the world including Italy, France, Argentina, Spain and more," she said. "The wines can be ordered at the event and made available in time for the holidays."

Beer lovers will be pleased that this year local brews will be added to the event. Bull and Barrel Brew Pub will among those offering tastings of local craft beers. Star Vodka will also return this year with premium and flavored vodka.

The Ashikari Breast Center at HVHC offers access to nationally renowned doctors in the field. Drs. Andrew Ashikari, Pond Kelemen and Melita Charles work together to make sure every patient who walks through their door receives exceptional care. Proceeds from last year’s event helped finance a Cancer Symposium held on September 6 at Doral Arrowwood in Rye Brook, which brought together area oncologists, surgeons and other medical professionals to share best practices and the latest techniques in cancer treatment.

This year’s Wine and Dine Around the World will be held from 6-9 p.m. at Trump National Westchester, 339 Pine Road in Briarcliff Manor. There is still time to feature your restaurant at this popular event.
