The honorees of our 55^th annual gala were Emergency Medical Associates, now known as EMCare, and our very own nurses. The Nurses’ honor reflects their achievement of the Magnet designation, which is the most prestigious credential for nursing excellence and quality patient care. Our outstanding group of Emergency Room physicians is the leading provider of excellence in health care. Together, these two groups provide the highest quality, most compassionate care to our patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, helping ensure we are the very first choice for anyone in need of medical care in the Hudson Valley.

Former New York Governor George Pataki and his wife, Libby, were among those on hand during the 55th Annual FallGala Celebration held by NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital at the Lyndhurst Castle in Tarrytown. The gala—featuring cuisine by Chef Peter X. Kelly of Xaviars Restaurant Group—was emceed by Today in New York co-anchor Darlene Rodriguez. Proceeds of this event, our most important fundraiser of the year, will go directly towards supporting our priority initiatives, which include the acquisition of state-of-the-art technology and the renovation and modernization of key service areas within our Hospital.
