Every year, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital hosts an annual spring luncheon to benefit the Lying-In Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Founded in 1799, the Lying-In Hospital was New York’s first medical center devoted solely to the care of women in childbirth. Today, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology furthers the work started by the Lying-In Hospital, setting new standards in patient care, research, training and community outreach that translate into better medical care for women of all ages.
In 2018, world-renowned designer Naeem Khan sponsored the annual Lying-In luncheon, which featured a showcase of his 2018 Runway collection, and was hosted by Dr. Laura Forese, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, NewYork-Presbyterian.
