Mom and Baby Bus
The Mom and Baby Bus (MBB) is a mobile health unit, in partnership with March of Dimes, bringing reproductive, pregnancy, and postpartum care directly to community members. The MBB provides perinatal education, pregnancy health support, and medical linkage for patients when it is hard to get to traditional outpatient settings. The bus offers a bridge to healthcare to those that are disconnected from care; our team includes nurses, medical assistants, community health workers, doulas, and a nurse practitioner. The MBB project is in development for neighborhoods within Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.
