The Compass Program

A safe space for youth navigating their gender experience

Compass is a comprehensive program for transgender and gender-diverse children and adolescents in a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space.

Our services include:

  • Comprehensive and individualized needs assessment
  • Mental health counseling
  • Family support
  • Collaboration with schools and other organizations
  • Sexual and reproductive health counseling
  • Puberty suppression and gender-affirming hormone treatment

Who We Serve

Children and adolescents through the age of 19 at two locations in Manhattan.

Our Team

The Compass Program’s interdisciplinary team includes an adolescent medicine specialist, social worker, psychologist, and pediatric endocrinologist.
