Your Support at Work
Your Generosity is Transforming Care
In 2025, philanthropy fueled amazing things at NewYork-Presbyterian. Because of our incredible supporters, we drove progress in medicine, expanded our reach in the region, and remained steadfast in our mission: compassionate care for every patient who comes through our doors.
Uniting Children's Healthcare
This year we launched the Children’s Hospital of New York at NewYork-Presbyterian—a unified standard of care that brings together pediatric services across every NYP campus. This systemwide alignment strengthens collaboration, advances training, optimizes resources, and ensures that every child receives consistent, world-class care no matter where they are seen within NYP.
We want to reimagine pediatric care for the 21st century, where every child, in every neighborhood of New York and beyond, receives world-class care.

Harnessing Technology to Combat Youth Suicide
We established the Erick Shirley Suicide Prevention Initiative at the Center for Youth Mental Health at NewYork-Presbyterian to advance new technology and research designed to identify and support young people at risk.
The Initiative will catalyze three key projects leveraging technology to improve early identification of suicide risk, research of suicide intervention methods, and ultimately, development of suicide prevention tools:
- A rapid, real-time suicide-risk assessment tool, powered by artificial intelligence
- For pediatric clinics, a first-of-its-kind support tool to assist emergency department clinicians in identifying youth suicide risk and determining appropriate care pathways
- Digital mental health support for at-risk youth following discharge from the emergency department
