Biography

Leslie Moroz, MD is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Columbia University who joined the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division after completing her fellowships in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Critical Care there. She is the Director of the Mothers Center and the Program in Critical Care Obstetrics. Dr. Moroz's clinical and research interests include placenta accreta; medically and surgically complicated pregnancies, including those affected by chronic medical conditions or prior surgeries; and pregnancy, past or present, requiring intensive care.

Dr. Moroz provides prenatal care for patients with a range of medical, surgical, and obstetric conditions. She is the director of the Placenta Accreta Program at Columbia. Her practice includes women at risk for placenta accreta including those with a history of Asherman syndrome, prior pregnancy affected by placenta accreta, and ultrasound imaging suggestive of placenta accreta spectrum. She regularly works on Labor and Delivery and has experience in trial of labor after cesarean, forceps and vacuum vaginal deliveries, and vaginal delivery of multiple gestation pregnancies including breech extraction of a second twin.
