Ultrasound PA Fellowship

The physician assistant post-graduate fellowship in emergency ultrasound is a one-year program designed for physician assistants to acquire competency with all of the applications recommended by the ACEP guidelines. Fellows will learn advanced applications including echocardiography for the critically ill patient and advanced pediatric applications taught by pediatric ultrasound-trained faculty.

Our PA fellowship also provides global opportunities with established international ultrasound entities where fellows participate in ultrasound teaching endeavors such as the Developing EM Ultrasound Conference.

Our fellows additionally participate in ultrasound research, guided by our NewYork-Presbyterian Queens research team who assists with proposals, IRB applications, data acquisition, and publications.

The ultimate goal of the fellowship is to train the new generation of physician assistants who will eventually grow to be the future leaders of emergency ultrasound.
