Physical Medicine

Our physiatrists treat patients with acute and chronic physical disabilities. The team develops individual treatment plans to improve patients' quality of life through exercise-based rehabilitation and pain management.

Patients suffering from chronic pain who have not responded well to previous treatments can also seek treatment from our physiatrists who will employ one or a combination of the following therapies:

  • Physical therapy and therapeutic exercise
  • Medications
  • Training on how to modify movement and activities
  • Adaptive equipment and assistive devices, such as a walker
  • Orthotics and prostheses
  • Injection therapies
  • Electrodiagnostic studies
