Epilepsy is a disorder characterized by recurrent seizures, caused by irregular brain activity, which can develop at any age. Some people are born with a structural brain defect, while for others the cause of epilepsy may be the result of a head injury, tumor, stroke, infection, or a degenerative illness such as Alzheimer’s.

Our epileptologists, along with a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, social workers and families, offer comprehensive care to help reduce the number of seizures to improve quality of life. Our team offers the following services:
