Justin K. Greisberg, MD, an orthopedic foot and ankle specialist with advanced trauma training, brings extensive experience to his role as Chief of the Foot & Ankle Service at Columbia Orthopedics. Dr. Greisberg is an expert on complex reconstructive surgeries, including limb realignment, diabetic reconstruction, and total ankle replacement using arthroscopic procedures combined with the latest medications, braces, and orthotics to ensure accelerated recovery times.
His practice focuses on orthopedic trauma and foot & ankle reconstruction. Dr. Greisberg completed advanced fellowship training in both fields. He is backed by myriad resources offered by the top hospital system in the region, which includes the New York-Presbyterian hospital transfer service, and he receives emergency trauma cases from many other hospitals.
Dr. Greisberg is also a highly respected scholar who is conducting several research trials on foot and ankle procedures and trauma surgery. He co-authored a textbook, Core Knowledge in Orthopaedics: Foot and Ankle, and numerous peer-reviewed articles that have appeared in professional medical journals. Dr. Greisberg is actively involved in the education of medical students and orthopedic residents and is frequently invited to lecture on complex problems of the foot and ankle.
