Endocrine Evaluation Testing

If your child needs an endocrine evaluation, our team will ask you to fill out a questionnaire that summarizes your child's medical history. We'll review any prior medical records and/or lab tests. During the initial visit, we will review your child's history and perform a full exam. We'll also order any laboratory or imaging tests that your child will need.

We offer endocrine stimulation testing to diagnose certain hormonal disorders, such as growth hormone deficiency, diabetes or poor glucose tolerance, puberty problems, and adrenal disorders such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia. We do this test to trigger a certain hormonal response in your child. We'll let you know if your child needs to fast before the procedure. You should plan to spend one to three hours for the test. Our staff will explain to you the specific details of the stimulation test that has been scheduled for your child.
