As of June 2016, NewYork-Presbyterian has partnered with The Children’s Museum of Manhattan as a new supporter of the EatSleepPlay™ exhibit. In celebration of this new partnership, the Department of Food and Nutrition at NewYork-Presbyterian hosted a special cooking demo at the Museum for young visitors.

To help highlight the exhibit's focus on healthy eating, NewYork-Presbyterian developed healthy recipes and tips to help parents encourage their young children to choose and eat healthy foods. NewYork-Presbyterian chef Ross Posmentier and nutritionist Natalie Khoo, conducted a 30-minute hands-on workshop where toddlers dressed the part of chef – complete with a chef’s hat and apron – and helped the NewYork-Presbyterian team prepare the healthy snacks. Participants tasted four recipes from Chefs Ross Posmentier and Pnina Peled that included tacos, pasta salads, smoothies and banana ice cream. The Department of Food and Nutrition also created recipe and nutrition cards for families to take home in lunchboxes.
