NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital has been recognized as one of the nation’s top hospitals to work for in 2018 by Indeed, the world’s #1 job site. The annual “Top-Rated Workplaces: Best Hospitals” list is based on employee ratings and reviews on Indeed.

Corwin, president and CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian. “Together, we are building a culture of respect that allows us to provide patients with world-class care in a workplace where every employee’s contribution is valued.”

The annual list honors hospitals that have received the highest overall ratings by users of Company Pages, Indeed’s database of over 72 million company ratings and reviews from employees based on several criteria, including overall employee satisfaction.

“Our goal, as an employer, is to reciprocate the dedication, passion, and care that our employees bring to the hospital every day,” said Dr. Laura Forese, executive vice president and chief operating officer of NewYork-Presbyterian. “Our employees are the key to our success, and we want to make sure every employee feels valued and included.”

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital was ranked fourth on the “Top-Rated Workplaces: Best Hospitals” list, with nearly 90 percent of employees approving of the CEO’s performance. Employees gave NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital high ratings in areas such as workplace culture and work/life balance.

“We are proud to foster an outstanding workplace and culture for our talented and devoted employees,” said Shaun Smith, senior vice president and chief human resources officer of NewYork-Presbyterian. “We aim to make this institution a place where our employees feel valued, supported and engaged as they deliver exceptional patient care.”
