Maurice R. Poplausky, MD

Maurice R. Poplausky, MD, is chair of Diagnostic Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. Dr. Poplausky is a board-certified radiologist with special competency in interventional radiology.

Dr. Poplausky attended The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a seven-year BS/MD program at City College of New York, and received his medical degree from SUNY Buffalo Medical School. He completed a year of internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY, followed by a four-year residency in radiology at the Brooklyn-based Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Poplausky completed a fellowship training program specializing in Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Prior to joining NYP Hudson Valley Hospital in 2003, Dr. Poplausky was an Interventional Radiologist at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY for seven years.

Dr. Poplausky is author of the book, Imaging of the Acutely Ill and Surgical Patient, has published multiple journal articles and contributes to various textbooks. He has been nominated as one of Westchester’s “Top Doctors” for the past seven years.

Elizabeth Elson, MD

Elizabeth Elson, MD, is a board-certified radiologist with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Elson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Biological Basis of Behavior and a minor in Fine Arts, and she received her medical degree from St. George’s University. She performed her internship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, NJ, and she completed her radiology residency at Morristown Medical Center, NJ. She went on to complete her fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center.

Prior to joining NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in September 2017, Dr. Elson was an Interventional/Diagnostic Radiologist at Kennedy University Hospital, NJ for three years. Dr. Elson is an active member of the SIR (Society of Interventional Radiology).

Paul Kim, MD

Dr. Paul Kim is a board certified diagnostic radiologist who has additional fellowship training and board certification in neuroradiology.

After graduating from Williams College, Williamstown, MA, Dr. Kim received his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center (Manhattan) - New York Medical College, where he served as a chief resident. He completed fellowship training in neuroradiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia.

Dr. Kim is a senior member of American Society of Neuroradiology and a member of Radiologic Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society.

James Park, MD PhD

James Park, MD PhD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Park graduated from Cornell University with a major in Biology, and received an MD/PhD from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his internship and radiology residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, and then went on to complete fellowships in Interventional Radiology at John Hopkins Hospital and pediatric IR at Boston Children's Hospital.

Prior to joining NYP Hudson Valley Hospital in September 2020, Dr. Park was an Interventional radiologist in Pittsburgh, PA for five years. Dr. Park is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Tova Koenigsberg, MD

Tova Koenigsberg, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital.

Dr. Koenigsberg graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed both her diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in Women’s Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Prior to joining the department, Dr. Koenigsberg served as Medical Director for outpatient imaging at the Montefiore Medical Arts Pavillion, and was Section Chief of the Division of Breast Imaging at Montefiore Medical Center. She serves on numerous national committees and has been an examiner for the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Koenigsberg is experienced in all aspects of breast imaging and intervention, and is passionate about women's health.
