Supporting Healthcare Workers on the Front Lines of the COVID-19 Outbreak
In recent weeks, we've received an outpouring of requests from community members and organizations that wish to support healthcare workers at NewYork-Presbyterian.
Thank you for thinking of our team members. We are in extraordinary times, but we are an exceptional team, and we are committed to the communities we serve. As our patient levels surge, our staff faces tremendous challenges. Below are some ways our community members can support the physical and emotional wellbeing of healthcare workers who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Click on the donate button below if you would like to make a monetary donation to support NewYork-Presbyterian employees who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak. These funds will be used to provide free meals, snacks and other wellbeing resources for our staff.
As of Tuesday April 7th, we are providing free meals to every team member of our frontline-patient-facing teams across all our campuses. Therefore, we are no longer accepting in-kind donations of meals at NewYork-Presbyterian, except those that have been prearranged with specific departments.
If you are reaching out to offer an in-kind donation of shelf-stable snacks or other products for distribution to our frontline, please email [email protected].
Thank you for your support. You can further show your appreciation for healthcare workers by posting a message of thanks on social media and using the hashtags #NYPHeroes and #NYP.
