Otolaryngology Residency Training Program

Application Process

Electronic residency application service (ERAS)

Applications for residency must be completed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the NRMP, with ACGME code #2803511074. In order for us to review your file, we require a copy of your CV, Personal Statement, USMLE scores, three recommendation letters, and transcripts.

Interviews

Every application downloaded to the program will be reviewed by our Residency Review Committee upon receipt from ERAS. Approximately 50 applicants will be granted interviews. Interviews will be conducted on Saturday, December 2nd (Virtual); Tuesday, December 5th (In person); and Friday, December 15th, 2023 (In person).

The schedule will include interviewing with members of the teaching staff, meeting with our graduate staff, and virtually touring the facilities. Please note: We will consider all candidates equally, whether you interview on Zoom or in-person.

Acceptance

Candidates matched for a residency position are automatically accepted for all five years of specialty training at NYPH (PGY 1-5). Each year four trainees are selected, for a total of twenty residents in the five-year program.
