Both the Pediatric Emergency Departments of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and at the NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital provide a level of expertise and range of services and resources dedicated to children in need of emergency care.

The Emergency Departments of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital are top centers for emergency care and are officially designated as 911 Ambulance-Receiving Centers. Level I Adult Trauma Services are offered at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Level I Pediatric Trauma Services are offered at both the Komansky Children's Hospital and the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.

A note about NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester

NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester is a dedicated psychiatric facility. There is no physical "emergency room." However, their "Access - Intake Line" – 888-694-5700 – is staffed 24/7 to help with psychiatric emergencies as well as routine inquiries.
