Young Men's Clinic

Dedicated to Young Men's Family Planning and Health

NewYork-Presbyterian's Young Men’s Clinic (YMC) is nationally recognized for promoting the involvement of males in family planning. We provide services in a male-friendly environment for men between the ages of 14 and 35. Co-located with the Family Planning Practice, the YMC was established to encourage male involvement in the planning and spacing of pregnancies and the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and to address the lack of access to health care experienced by young men in northern Manhattan.

The YMC focuses on male sexual and reproductive health issues that often receive less attention by other primary care providers. We believe that providing high-quality services to the men of our community, training the next generation of healthcare professionals, and conducting service-based research are interdependent activities. Our focus on improving men’s health also enhances the health of families and the entire community.
