Why Choose Us

When it comes to your heart, you want experience over everything.

At NewYork-Presbyterian, we’ve built up our experience over decades. With heart surgery procedures that set the standard for others, we treat more heart patients than any other hospital in the nation. Our affiliation with two top medical schools means we have the expertise to treat a full spectrum of heart conditions. From common conditions to rare diseases, if you have it, a NewYork-Presbyterian specialist has the experience to treat it.

Our cardiologists and cardiac surgeons are leaders in the field and highly specialized in diagnosing, treating, and managing various cardiovascular conditions. We are innovators and leaders in angioplasty surgery, coronary bypass surgery, catheter ablations, and heart transplants, to name a few. In addition, NewYork-Presbyterian is also one of the only centers in New York to utilize robotic technology for cardiology and cardiac surgery—a method proven to lead to higher success rates and shorter recovery time for patients.

As an academic healthcare system, we have successfully treated some of the highest-risk cases in the world, many of whom could not be helped elsewhere.
