The Life Begins Program was established to provide additional support to patients and make the Birthing Center admission process as easy and pleasant as possible.
Sign Up for Birthing Classes and Tours
Some of the benefits of the Life Begins Program include:
- A patient navigator is available to assist you in scheduling a tour so that you will know what to expect when you are ready to deliver.
- Access to our childbirth classes and parent education programs.
- Facilitated registration for a private room. A private room can be requested by contacting our Private Room Coordinator, at 718-780-5071 , or by visiting the Admitting Department on the first floor of the Miner Pavilion. Private rooms, when available, require an additional cost which is not covered by insurance carriers.
- To expedite admission, financial documentation will be completed prior to the patient's arrival.
