The
Teen Age Pregnancy and Parenting Program (TAPP), a program in
WomenÕs Health, provides comprehensive medical and psychosocial
services to pregnant adolescents. Two full time social workers
provide bilingualÊ (English/Spanish) services, individual and
group counseling, case management, health education, parenting
groups, and La Maze classes. In addition to obstetrical services,
the program provides preventive services in the clinic and the
community.Ê Outreach activities focus on area high schools and
adolescent health fairs. To insure continuity of care there is
a collaborative mother-child clinic jointly run by TAPP and Pediatrics
called the Adolescent and Infants Mothers Clinic (AMIC). For an
