Center
The
William Randolph Hearst Burn Center is the largest and busiest
Burn Center in the country. A multidisciplinary team provides
comprehensive care to the burn-injured patient and their family
from pediatrics to geriatrics. Services are provided using a continuity
of care model.Ê Two full-time social workers provide services
such as crisis intervention, referral and liaison, health education,
psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, individual and family
counseling, group support services and ambulatory follow up. Social
Workers are available Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
