Gynecologic Cancers

At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, clinicians, researchers, and other staff collaborate in a comprehensive program combining the most advanced, state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for women with gynecologic cancers -- including those of the cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina/vulva, and uterus.

The National Cancer Institute-designated Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and the Weill Cornell Cancer Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center both take a multidisciplinary approach to care, bringing together gynecologic oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, genetic specialists, oncology nurses and nurse practitioners, psychosocial support specialists, and other experts. Our clinicians are accomplished, caring specialists who have a longstanding commitment to women's health. Patients receive integrated, seamless care in a serene and compassionate environment.

And because this care is delivered at two major academic medical centers, we are able to attend to all of a woman's healthcare needs, such as co-existing conditions like heart disease and diabetes. From screening and genetic counseling to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, we provide the full range of services needed by women with gynecologic cancers.
