The Cornell Urban Semester Program provides an opportunity for pre-medical students to confirm and explore professional interests, and participate in community service in New York City. Every semester pre-medical Cornell undergraduates take part in hospital rotations under the aegis of the TAPP program. They shadow physicians in the Pediatric TAPP clinic on HT-5 and rotate through Labor and Delivery, the NICU and OB clinics.

The TAPP program partners with Inwood House, a supervised maternity and mother/child residence located on East 82nd Street that offers pregnant adolescents and adolescent mothers with children help in finding family supportive services and appropriate housing.
