Urologic Cancer
The mission of the Genitourinary Oncology Program of the NewYork-Presbyterian Cancer Centers is to provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to the management of genitourinary malignancies. Dedicated to groundbreaking basic urologic oncology research, the Cancer Centers have made extraordinary advances in the understanding of prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers and have translated these advances into state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment approaches. Specialists representing urology, medical oncology, surgery, pathology, and radiation oncology collaborate closely, conducting clinical trials for all stages of genitourinary cancers and pursuing research aimed at developing new preventive, early screening, and therapeutic modalities. By combining world-class research, sophisticated diagnostics, outstanding teamwork, and the newest treatment options, patients receive the highest level of care for these cancers.
