About Us

Innovative cancer treatments. Personalized, compassionate care. Evidence-based medicine. These are the hallmarks of the cancer care available at NewYork-Presbyterian. We treat some 7,500 people who are newly diagnosed with cancer each year.

Two Top Cancer Centers

NewYork-Presbyterian features two of the country's top cancer centers: the National Cancer Institute-designated Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and the Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medical College / Ronald P. Stanton Clinical Cancer Program at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Multidisciplinary Care

Through a multidisciplinary team approach, we combine the expertise and talents of all of the individuals responsible for a patient's care – surgical and medical physicians, radiation oncologists, specialized oncology nurses, social workers, and nutritionists – to deliver seamless care to patients within a supportive and healing environment.

Latest Treatments, Clinical Trials

Our patients have access to the latest anti-cancer drugs, novel and targeted therapies, and emerging minimally invasive surgical procedures. Our world class physicians are leading a wide array of clinical trials to ensure our patients receive the most advanced treatments for cancer. In addition, our comprehensive support programs address the emotional and physical challenges faced by cancer patients.
