More Top Doctors Than Any Other Hospital in the U.S.A.
According to the America's Top Doctors survey published by Castle Connelly, NewYork-Presbyterian has more Top Doctors than any other hospital in the United States. In an independent survey, more than 250,000 physicians were asked to name physicians that they would refer a member of their own family. Over 185 physicians from Columbia and Weill Cornell were recognized in every field of medicine including cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, digestive diseases, bariatric surgery, urology/prostate surgery, pediatrics and many others. Many of our surgeons have pioneered minimally invasive procedures, such as minimally-invasive robotic prostate surgery, that reduce risk, scarring, and shorten recovery time.

NewYork-Presbyterian is the only hospital in the United States affiliated with two Ivy League Medical Schools: Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medical College. Our physicians are also researchers working on the latest medical innovations in their fields and are teaching the next generation of physicians.
