"SIXTH ANNUAL HEALTH FAIR FOR TAXI DRIVERS"
Venue: 21 Audubon Avenue between West 166th & 167th St. NYC

Taxi drivers have one of the most stressful jobs in New York City with constant noise, long hours, and seemingly relentless traffic contributing to the strain. Taxi drivers are a high-risk group with many barriers to well-health: sedentary work; unhealthy nutritional choices on the road; long hours that leave little time to tend to other needs; working conditions (vulnerable to crime, no employee fringe benefit protection, earnings are garnered by weather, traffic conditions, taxi demand); and many have no health insurance or a medical home.
