Ambulatory Care Services

Ambulatory Care Services refers to NewYork-Presbyterian's in-hospital or stand alone community health center clinics. These clinics provide high-quality, affordable, patient-friendly care to persons of all ages in practices that are conveniently located, private and comfortable. Collectively, the clinics are known as The Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
At the ACN we emphasize the importance of preventive health care and promoting wellness through health education.
For insurance plans accepted at our ACN, consult a referral specialist at 1-866-463-2778. If you have no insurance, we offer a reasonable sliding fee. Also, our referral personnel can assist you with determining eligibility for enrollment in government-sponsored health plans.
The ACN has 21 practices that offer primary care and over 75 specialty and subspecialty services. The ACN operates an Urgicare Center, and an aesthetic laser surgery center, a sports medicine center, as well as school-based health centers, and Women, Infants, Children (WIC) nutritional centers. Also, access to affordable pharmaceutical benefits is available for eligible Medicare patients at our community practices through our Pharmacy Assistance Program.
Our community practices are also providers of the Prenatal Care Assistance Program (PCAP). PCAP is a program that provides prenatal care to qualifying pregnant women and their babies who normally would not qualify for Medicaid. US citizenship is NOT required. Enrollment is easy; it is done where you receive your prenatal care.
