We offer comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment programs for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, vestibular dysfunction, peripheral neuropathy, Parkinson's disease, brain tumor, spinal cord injury, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Patients are seen at the bedside in the acute care hospital, in the rehabilitation unit, or as outpatients. Our goal is to return our patients to a maximum level of function at home, work and in the community. We use a variety of therapeutic approaches and interventions to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility and ambulation including balance and coordination. Our therapists will also address areas such as attention, memory and executive functioning, visual perceptual skills and home, work or community management. Swallowing dysfunction is also an area of expertise addressed by our occupational and speech therapists. Many of our physical therapists are APTA-certified neurological clinical specialists.
