Vivek Iyer, MD, MSE is a cardiac electrophysiologist, specializing in treating heart rhythm abnormalities.
Dr. Iyer is an Attending Physician in the Cardiac Electrophysiology section, in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine. He specializes in the management of complex cardiac arrhythmia and advanced ablation techniques, with clinical interests in ventricular tachycardia (VT) and atrial fibrillation (AF) management. His medical school training was completed in 2006 at Harvard Medical School, followed by clinical training at Columbia University Medical Center. Research interests include advanced ablation techniques, as well as arrhythmia formation in the context of heritable "channelopathies". He completed Biomedical Engineering training at Johns Hopkins University in 2002, earning BS and MSE degrees.
