Dr. Geller has practiced surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center since 1987. His surgical expertise includes open and laparoscopic surgery of the abdomen, including the gall bladder, stomach, colon, rectum, and small intestine, as well as the breast and lymph nodes. During the past decade, Dr. Geller developed a particular interest in the repair of abdominal wall hernias, and he now focuses his practice exclusively in this area. He is Director of the Columbia University Hernia Center, Attending Surgeon in the Division of General Surgery and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Geller is currently involved in research regarding the use of botulinum toxin in the repair of abdominal wall hernias where abdominal space has been compromised.
