Patient Meals and Snacks
You will be offered a choice of meals from the Hospital menu, with specific attention to any dietary restrictions that may be related to your condition or to your treatment. The Hospital can also accommodate special requests for vegetarian or kosher meals.
We ask that you do not receive any perishable food from people visiting you at the Hospital. However, home-cooked meals that will be eaten immediately are fine. But do remember to first check with your doctor to find out about any diet restrictions related to your condition or your treatment. Please limit the amount of food and properly dispose of all leftovers. Guidelines for storage of food are posted on all refrigerators designated for patient use. Also, because some patients are on very specialized diets, please do not offer or give any food or drinks to any of the other patients.
Nourishing snacks such as juice, crackers, cereal and milk are available on the unit.
If you have any questions about your meal service, please contact us.
