Center for Professional Nursing Practice
The purpose of the Center for Professional Nursing Practice (CPNP) at NewYork-Presbyterian is to provide an integrated, collaborative environment of professional practice programs which are integral to the advancement of professional nursing practice at NYP.
The mission of the Center for Professional Nursing Practice is to:
- Support the advancement of professional nursing practice through knowledge & skill acquisition
- Support the development of evidence-based standards and patient education resources
- Conduct and support primary nursing research
- Align nursing quality/PI initiatives with the hospital's quality initiatives & service lines
The vision of the Center for Professional Nursing Practice is to create a professional and learning environment where professional nurses can excel in practice, quality, safety and research.
