New York -

NewYork-Presbyterian and content agency, Pace, received two awards for HealthMatters.nyp.org, the Hospital’s new digital storytelling platform. Health Matters won “Best Series of Articles” and “Best New Digital Publication - Design” at the Content Marketing Awards, the largest and longest-running international content marketing awards program in the world.

“We are thrilled NewYork-Presbyterian is being recognized in this way,” said Karen Sodomick, vice president of Communications at NewYork-Presbyterian. “Through Health Matters, we’re able to highlight the amazing things that are happening here every day, and Pace has been a close partner in this initiative since day one.”

Health Matters launched in March 2017 to share stories of science and research, care and wellness across our hospitals that only NewYork-Presbyterian is equipped to tell. The in-depth stories, compelling videos and vibrant infographics feature our leading experts sharing news about innovations in healthcare and groundbreaking research at NewYork-Presbyterian and its academic partners, Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine. Health Matters covers every area of medicine, using an accessible but scientific lens to demystify complex health issues while also sharing stories about what inspires our doctors, nurses and employees across the organization to provide world-class care to patients.

This year’s judges reviewed more than 1,100 entries to choose the “best of the best” in content marketing excellence, recognizing all aspects of content marketing from strategy to distribution, from editorial to design.

Winners were announced and celebrated at a live awards ceremony during the Content Marketing World conference, Sept. 6, 2017, in Cleveland, Ohio, which drew 4,000 attendees from over 70 countries. A full list of the 2017 winners and finalists in all 93 categories can be seen on the Content Marketing Awards website: http://contentmarketingawards.com/2017-winners/.
