Donald Christopher Enoch, MD, is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician, who has been practicing Medicine for almost 20 years. After receiving his Medical Degree from Brown University, he completed his Residency at St. Joseph’s in Yonkers NY. His experience has provided him will multiple appointments, including serving as a Community Preceptor, Associate Attending Physician, Society of Teachers, and Physician Advisory Utilization Committee. Dr. Enoch treats each patient as an individual, not as an illness or disease. He strongly believes in listening to his patient’s concerns and addressing them with effective solutions and follow-up.

Irina Klyatis, MD, ABFP

Family Medicine

Irina Klyatis, MD is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center.

Dr. Klyatis obtained her Medical Degree from Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, and completed her Internship at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Klyatis also completed a pre-residency fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Preliminary Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center and a Residency in Family Medicine at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center in Queens, NY.

In addition to Precepting at New York Medical College in the Foundations of Clinical medicine and Family and Community Medicine, Dr. Klyatis’ areas of expertise are inpatient care, office practice, and nursing home/assisted living/rehabilitative care.

Bindu Mathew

Bindu Mathew, MD

Family Medicine

Dr. Bindu Mathew, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician, who has been in practice since 2006. Dr. Mathew attended the University of the West Indies in Trinidad, and completed her Family Medicine Internship and Residency at the University of Buffalo in New York.

Dr. Mathew's area of expertise is providing excellent inpatient care and transitioning patients back to their home setting. She also sees patients in local nursing home and rehabilitation facilities.

Edward Merker

Edward L. Merker, MD, ABFP

Family Medicine

Dr. Edward L. Merker, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing since 1985. Dr. Merker attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed his Internship and Residency in Family Medicine at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, a prior Columbia University affiliated institution.

During his last year of residency, Dr. Merker served as Chief Resident of the Family Medicine Program at Overlook and previously practiced as a physician at Yale Health Plan. Dr. Merker is a Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care and attends to patients in numerous nursing homes and assisted living facilities as well as providing care to patients in his private office.

Dr. Merker is honored to be named as Top Doctor-Family Medicine New York Metro Area 2016, Top Doctor-Family Medicine by New York Magazine 2016, and 2016 Westchester's Best Doctors by Westchester Magazine. He also holds memberships in American Academy of Family Medicine, American Medical Directors Association, and American Professional Wound Care Association.

Pooja Paunikar

Pooja A. Paunikar, MD, ABFP

Dr. Pooja Paunikar, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Paunikar is a graduate from the University of California (BS), Dartmouth Medical School (MPH), and received her Medical Degree from American University of Antigua. She completed her Family Medicine Residency and a year as Chief Resident at North Shore-LIJ Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, New York. She provides primary care services and is especially interested in Women's Health issues.

Dora Piccirilli

Dora C. Piccirilli, MD, ABFP

Dr. Dora Piccirilli is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician who has practiced primary care since 1991. She graduated from S.U.N.Y. Syracuse Medical School, followed by her Family Medicine Internship and Residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey.

Dr. Piccirilli, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, has been honored to be one of Westchester's Top Doctors for the past 5 years. She is fluent in Italian, and also a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine.

Frank Soroka

Dr. Frank Soroka, Assistant Clinical professor of Medicine at Columbia University medical Center, is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. After graduating from McGill University, Canada, Dr. Soroka then completed his Residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Dr. Soroka provides primary care and geriatric expertise to his patients and the community, and is also fluent in French.

Richard Strongwater

Dr. Richard Strongwater is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician who provides primary care and travel medicine services. After receiving his Medical Degree from S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical School, he completed his Internship and Residency at Overlook Hospital, a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University.

Dr. Strongwater, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, holds a certificate in Travel Medicine from the International Society of Travel Medicine. He works with numerous missionaries from around the world, and is also licensed to give Yellow Fever vaccine.

Since 2000, Dr. Strongwater has been named Castle Connolly Top Doctor in multiple publications such as Westchester Magazine, New York Magazine, and Town & Country magazine.
