Postmenopausal Bleeding
While a thin uterine lining causes most postmenopausal bleeding, there is always the possibility that a tumor of the uterus is the real cause. Using a tiny hysteroscope, the gynecologist is able to rule-out a tumor by directly looking into the uterus. The procedure is done in the office rather than the hospital setting.
