Individual Nutrition Counseling

Most insurance plans will cover the cost of nutrition counseling, including Medicare Part B, for the diagnosis of diabetes & chronic kidney disease.

Adult Weight Management Program

A ten-week course which utilizes evidence-based research and guidelines from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. This comprehensive program uniquely encompasses nutrition education, physical activity and the role of behavioral therapy in weight reduction and management.

  • Nine weeks in a group setting
  • One week of one-on-one individual counseling
  • Metabolic reading to determine calorie requirements
  • Free 30-minute session with a personal trainer

Indirect Calorimeter Measurement

An indirect calorimeter is an FDA approved, hand held device that measures the amount of oxygen the body consumes and determines the number of calories required to aid in achieving desired weight loss, weight gain or weight maintenance. Measurements made with the indirect calorimeter are quick and easy, and include a 15-minute session with the registered dietitian to assist in interpreting results.

Corporate Lunch and Learn

These sessions promote healthy habits to increase wellness within the workplace. Wellness in the workplace has been shown to reduce health plan costs, lower absenteeism and sick days, decrease staff turnover, and increase daily productivity.

Appointments

You will need a prescription from your physician for nutrition counseling with a diagnosis and ICD-10 code, your insurance card information and a copy of your most recent lab work.
