We diagnose more than 80 sleep disorders including the more common ones that include obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), narcolepsy, insomnia, periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD) and restless leg syndrome (RLS). Sleep disorders, left untreated, may lead to serious health risks and other medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, stroke or weight gain.

The Center for Sleep Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital accommodates patients for comprehensive sleep assessments, including overnight studies.

Patients are evaluated in a comfortable and private environment, and with advanced diagnostic equipment. Staff will monitor your sleep patterns, breathing abnormalities and heart rate throughout the night. Your results will be analyzed and discussed with you and your primary physician. A personalized treatment plan will be developed to help improve your sleep health.
