NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is one of the country’s leading centers for pediatric healthcare and the first and only children’s program in the world with the pediatric expertise of two Ivy League medical schools – Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. For nine years running, our Hospital has ranked in more pediatric specialties than any other New York area hospital in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Children’s Hospital.”
The NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children’s Health at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center was established in 2005 through a generous grant from Phyllis and David Komansky.
This full-service, multidisciplinary “children's hospital within a hospital” is dedicated to improving the health of infants, children, and adolescents through high quality and comprehensive programs in patient care, medical education, scientific research, and child and family advocacy.
Each year, thousands of children of all ages come to the NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children’s Health for medical and surgical care provided by a highly skilled and compassionate team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
We are grateful to Phyllis and David Komansky and the many devoted supporters of our Hospital’s pediatric programs, which depend on the generosity of our friends and partners.
