NewYork-Presbyterian’s Specialty Pharmacy is fully integrated with your health care team. The staff at NewYork- Presbyterian’s Specialty Pharmacy work directly with your clinicians to ensure you receive your correct medications, on time. Medications prescribed by your provider are filled through our pharmacy and can be sent directly to you through mail, are available for pick up at our address, or can be delivered by courier service to a location of your choosing.
Who We Are
The Specialty Pharmacy is an outpatient pharmacy program. The program provides each patient with the highest possible level of personalized care. Our team of pharmacists and therapy-specific Liaisons focus on supporting your specific disease with one-on-one counseling to answer any questions you may have as they pertain to your medical condition and prescribed medications. Some conditions including (but are not limited to) asthma, Crohn’s disease, hemophilia, hepatitis B and C, HIV, multiple sclerosis, pulmonary arterial hypertension, and rheumatoid arthritis. Your questions may include proper medication dosing and administration, medication storage, warning signs and symptoms, and side effect management.
Our team can address all of your prescription needs, including:
- Free home delivery
- Personalized refill reminders
- Medication adherence programs
- Help obtaining financial assistance
- On-call pharmacist support for drug information questions
We also offer communication and interpreter assistance free of charge for any patients and their families with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), speech or visual impairment, or who are deaf or hard of hearing.
