Sparks of Life Program

Fan the flames of healing.

Whether you have four hours a week or two hours a month, you can do what you love and leave a huge impact on a patient's day. As a Sparks of Life volunteer, you will bring your talent and passion to a variety of Hospital units, sharing a song, project, or story on different floors. You can brighten the days of patients on the pediatric, rehabilitation, geriatric and acute psychiatry, and oncology units with a performance. We welcome professional musicians, singers, artists, puppeteers, certified yoga instructors, clowns, storytellers, magicians, and more.

We would love to hear from you if you are: passionate about and skilled in your craft, outgoing, caring, respectful, able to project a positive attitude, enthusiastic and compassionate

Minimum Commitment: Because of the unique nature of this program, we work with both ongoing and episodic volunteers, accommodating periodic visits or weekly scheduled shifts.

Times: Seven days a week,  10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
